DR. (MRS.) LOLIYA AGBANI KAGHER
PROFILE SUMMARY

Loliya is a Lecturer in Human Resource Management at the Liverpool Business School, Liverpool John Moores University. She teaches Diversity Management and Organisational Behaviour. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education and community development from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, MSc in Management from the University of Glasgow and a doctorate in Development Policy and Management from the University of Manchester. Loliya’s teaching experience spans across, Nigeria, the United Kingdom and Europe. She is also an active researcher and her research work includes mentoring and networking for women of African Origin, Identity, and work from the context of diversity and inclusion, and how this contributes to organisational and national development. She has previously published a paper on work-life balance; a case of women of African Origin CIPD (applied research). She has presented papers in national and international conferences. She is also working on promoting facilitating action learning via online platforms to foster learning and action.
She is also an online radio show host (Inconversation) and does a bit of copyediting/proofreading. She writes for blogs, academic journals.
